Movement Scales

Andrea Horta Barba has a degree in Psychology from University of Barcelona (2010), master´s degree in Neuropsychological Diagnosis and Rehabilitation from Hospital de la Santa Creu i Sant Pau and Universitat Autonoma de Barcelona (2012) and in master´s degree in Legal, Forensic and Criminological Psychopathology from the Universitat Internacional de Catalunya (2013). She is Spanish Coordinator for the European Huntington Disease Network (EHDN), neuropsychologist in the Neurology Movement Disorders Department of Hospital de la Santa Creu and Sant Pau and researcher at the Sant Pau Biomedical Research Institute. 

 

Her research interest is focused on behavioural, cognitive and legal aspects in Movement Disorders pathologies, mainly Huntington´s and Parkinson disease. She has background experience on neurofeedback therapies with ADHD patients and neuropsychological rehabilitation for patients with cognitive impairment. She participates in clinical trials with experimental medication for diferent neurodegenerative diseases.
