Ramón Fernández de Bobadilla has a degree in Psychology from University of Deusto (2008) and master's degrees in Neuropsychology from Hospital de la Santa Creu i Sant Pau (2010) and in Neuropsychological Rehabilitation and Cognitive Stimulation (Institut Guttmann) from the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (2011).
He heads the Department of Neuropsychology at the Neurological Center for Integral Care (CNAI) in Navarra (Spain) where he is responsible for the assessment and the design and implementation of neuropsychological rehabilitation programs for patients with neurodegenerative diseases and acquired brain injury in child, adolescents and adults.
He is Associate Professor of Health Sciences Department at the Universitat Oberta de Catalunya and Coordinator of the master’s degree in Neuropsychology.
His research interests focus on developing psychometric tools for cognitive and functional evaluation of subjects in the early stages of Parkinson's disease. He is working on his doctoral thesis within the framework of the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona Faculty of Medicine's doctoral programme.
He has wide-ranging experience in designing and running projects and clinical trials with experimental medication for different neurodegenerative diseases. He has published articles for international academic journals in the fields of neurology and psychiatry.
